Opportunities Available at Sandia National Laboratories

Sandia National Laboratories is a leading partner in the Department of Energy's Genomes to Life Program (www.genomes-to-life.org). We are developing a hierarchical understanding from molecular binding to environmental modeling of carbon sequestration in marine cyanobacterium. Opportunities are available for micro/molecular biologists to apply state-of-the-art proteomic techniques to characterize protein complexes and protein-protein interaction motifs.

Sandia offers a dynamic research environment with opportunities to work in multidisciplinary, motivated teams of experimental and computational biologists. We are located in Livermore, CA approximately 50 miles east of San Francisco.

Post-Doctoral position: Ph.D. in micro/molecular biology or related field required. Experience in bacterial molecular genetics, library construction and screening, phage display, and protein expression and purification desired. Experience with protein mass spectrometry a plus. Salaries starting at $60K per annum.

Technologist: B.A. in biology or related field required. Experience in techniques to support above stated areas required. Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and working independently a plus. Salaries starting at $40K per annum.

Send resumes to Anthony Martino, martino@sandia.gov.
